Stormy Windows #DailyHaikuChallenge

Lions roam outside
When lightning strikes the darkness
Plumes of pampas grass

I write poetry/prose/stories/short stories/verses for children/sketch/and have 6 chapters of a novel sitting there like that half eaten trifle in the fridge or bottle of Jack Daniels because something makes you afraid to eat it or drink... right now.. I am a proud Geordie from England's northern hemisphere and the beautiful city of Newcastle upon Tyne. I live with my lovely husband who came all the way from sunny California just for me, and my favourite animal, Bobble, our dog. I am a member of Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth and wish we could all do more, especially today, when such a lot is wrong.

    1. Thank you Genie. I am glad you stopped by. I have been having trouble leaving ‘likes’ on your blog for a while, and I am not sure if you receive them from the email notifications either. I see nothing when I visit your page.

      1. I have had a lot of problems with the internet provider that buy bandwidth from, so I turned off likes and comments for awhile, and then deleted all of my posts after awhile because of the fact that I thought the internet service was going to not be available anymore — where I live is very remote and the providers are lousy, however, they got a grant and put up a new tower so now the interent speed is somewhat acceptable. My new poem has likes and comments open on it.
It feels good to start from scratch again, sand mandalas and all that kind of impermanence stuff…
