Anita, thank you so much for making sure I had an opportunity to contribute to this amazing effort. And for all the work you had to do to get it published. You are a good friend, and mentor. Very grateful for you.

I am sitting on the couch in my new home for the first time, and about to start reading them. So exciting.

Don’t spill yer wine. Is there more than couch there – are you all moved in etc?

All my stuff is here. But most of it is in boxes. I dug through and found sheets so I could make the bed, lol. I only brought my living room and bedroom furniture. And boxes and boxes. It’s good to have it though.

BTW, your first poem in the publication is amazing. I particularly like your last verse.

Thank you. I will take a look. The daunting and time consuming bit is pulling together a manuscript. But after giving Tammy my two cents worth, it got me thinking. Currently I have an option of submitting to a publisher who if they don’t think you are the next Poe, will offer you a contract where you contribute to the publishing cost in an agreement with them – with that goes marketing, advertising distribution. etc all the good stuff – the same as with a regular publishing contract. The only thing stops me is they might offer me that alternative lol. Still not sure how I feel.

I’m dictating this through my phone so I apologize for the lack of punctuation I’m struggling with the same stuff I need it so I understand. That’s part of the reason why I share these things with you when I come across them. No big deal, no pressure just offering them for your perusal. If you choose to use them that’s great, and if you don’t it won’t hurt my feelings in the least.
