Goodbye, I miss you,
even though you’re still here.
Farewell, I am with with you
even though you can’t tell.
See you soon when winter sleeps
and for as long as the night when gone.
In the daytime I can watch
its dreams so long as its memories
hold you in inside.
So long my dear friend, father and you

I write poetry/prose/stories/short stories/verses for children/sketch/and have 6 chapters of a novel sitting there like that half eaten trifle in the fridge or bottle of Jack Daniels because something makes you afraid to eat it or drink... right now..
I am a proud Geordie from England's northern hemisphere and the beautiful city of Newcastle upon Tyne. I live with my lovely husband who came all the way from sunny California just for me, and my favourite animal, Bobble, our dog.
I am a member of Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth and wish we could all do more, especially today, when such a lot is wrong.

I sat with you for awhile at this poem, poem on screen, your words. Perhaps just a silly way of expressing empathy and just listening.

Oh man, that was so touching, . I couldn’t resit and hijacked a tradition – our own Father’s day is coming soon. But with speaking with my husband, over there celebrating it with his kids, I couldn’t not. It brings it home again. Thank you, Tammy.
